Annet Bruil is an experienced designer who loves to solve (societal) problems by designing products & services that create positive impact on individuals and communities to become healthier /safer /stronger /better.
In early 2011, she found herself in a psychiatric youth centre doing research on how design can help improve the lives of the people inside. She got interested in mental health and was fortunate to be able to fully develop her app ‘Beat-it’ as well as to continue to innovate in the healthcare industry.
Originally from the Netherlands, she embarked on a journey to Singapore at the end of 2012. In Singapore she set up her own business “Design for Impact” to allow herself to work together with some great companies while freelancing.
She enjoys observing people’s habits and loves to play sports. She holds a Master of Science in Interaction Design and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Engineering.
